Front Of House Line/Cashier

Burrito Shak in Jacksonville is a quick service restaurant with beach-vacation vibes that strives to build a positive team of employees that loves to connect with our community and our customers while providing fresh, high-quality food. Our address is 3040 Western Blvd Ste 100.

We are currently looking to add on a Front of House team member that will learn all aspects of the cashier, lobby, and line.

Day time shifts run between 9a-4pm and night shifts are between 4p-10p

Must be excited to work and have an outgoing, positive attitude!

*Must be at least 16 years of age*

Starting pay ranges from $8.50 -$11/hour depending upon experience and availability. Each team member also receives tips, which are an additional $3/hour on average added to your base pay.

Reports To: General Manager/Shift Leaders

Line:

*Prepares, seasons, and cooks menu items according to standards for service to customers.

*Maintain a happy and friendly attitude while interacting with guests and building their food items.

*Communicate with the team in a positive manner to ensure all food items are properly prepared and rung up accordingly.

*Inspects and cleans food preparation areas or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.

*Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.

*Basic line set up and line preparation for service and maintaining a stocked line throughout the shift.

*Consults with supervisory staff to ensure daily needs are met to run flawless services.

*Obtains basic knowledge of all menu items to help guests with questions when asked.

*Assist with dishes during down times

Cashier

* Set up the lobby at the beginning of each shift

* Greet customers entering and leaving business and during transactions.

* Maintain a clean and tidy work area.

* Accurately process all cash and credit payments.

* Provide exceptional customer service.

* Answer the phone

* Package online orders

*Maintain communication with the line

*Assist with dishes during down time

Qualifications:

* Strong attention to detail in a fast paced environment.

* Ability to listen and communicate effectively.

* Good attitude, good people skills and great at multi-tasking.
