Housekeeper – Blue Water Inn & Suites, BW Signature Collection

Are you a detail-oriented, hardworking professional with a passion for cleanliness and hospitality? Blue Water Inn & Suites, BW Signature Collection, is looking for dedicated Housekeepers to join our team!

As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. This position requires integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while upholding our high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing.
• Ensure all rooms and common areas are cleaned and inspected according to hotel standards.
• Protect and maintain hotel equipment, reporting any damages, deficiencies, or disturbances to management regularly.
• Respond to guest requests and reasonable complaints with professionalism and patience.
• Monitor and replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products as needed.
• Follow strict health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with other hotel departments when required to support overall hotel operations.

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Previous experience as a Housekeeper, Room Attendant, or Cleaner is preferred.
• Ability to work with little supervision while maintaining a high level of performance.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills to complete tasks efficiently.
• Customer-oriented and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work quickly and effectively without compromising quality.
• Weekend and major holiday availability is required.

Work Expectations & Requirements

• Punctuality and reliability are essential—on-time, every time.
• A "Whatever It Takes for Success" attitude is expected. If you’ve ever said, "That’s not my job," this isn’t the role for you.
• Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays, with flexibility for overtime when needed.
• Due to the seasonal nature of our business, no time off or vacations are permitted from March through October.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
• Hotel experience is a plus but not required.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: Starting at $11.00 per hour, based on experience.
• Shift: Day shift, flexible scheduling available.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience: 1 year of cleaning or hotel experience (preferred).
• Work Location: In-person at Blue Water Inn & Suites.
