Absentee Support - Phase I - Now Hiring

DRIVING PRIVILEGES REQUIRED

ATA Services, Inc is currently seeking to hire an Early Voting and Election Day Support/Call Center clerk to work on a temporary assignment with the Bernalillo County Bureau of Elections for the 2026 Primary Election.  

Pay Rate: $18.36 per hour with weekly pay

Start Date: MAY 4, 2026

End Date: JUNE 19, 2026

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., hours and days will be extended as needed

Location: SE Albuquerque – Gibson and Broadway 

Requirements: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. MUST have a clean driving record. Must be able to work various hours. 

 Job Duties:

Assist the Absentee Board by transporting trays of ballots between carts and tables, which requires standing and sitting for extended periods. Support various stages of the absentee ballot qualification process, including assisting with verification and processing of ballots. Participate in canvassing and auditing activities to ensure accuracy and compliance. Perform additional miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check. 

Must have a clean driving record and valid driver's license.

• Able to work various hours, including weekends and overtime as needed
• 2+ years of administrative Assistant or Office Clerk experience.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Good practical experience with MS Office
• Excellent knowledge of office equipment.
• Strong verbal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
