Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist in Pittsfield, Massachusetts This position involves administering radiation treatments, simulations, dosimetry functions, and fabricating blocks in preparation for treatment. The role requires initiative and independent judgment to ensure proper care of patients in accordance with departmental and facility policies. The Radiation Therapist will perform treatments in scheduled environments under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts; 40 hours per week; shifts are scheduled for days.
- Required Qualifications: Massachusetts Radiology license (must be uploaded with profile), current to 1 year; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration.
- Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of Radiation Therapy experience; previous travel experience preferred.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment. All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be included in the profile. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission; facility will not approve scheduling requests after an offer or during interviews.
