Travel Pharmacist – Retail Pharmacist
We are seeking a Travel Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment in a retail pharmacy setting. This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist looking for schedule flexibility in a patient-focused environment.
Job Overview
- Specialty: Pharmacist (Retail)
- Schedule: Flexible (Typically 40 hours/week)
- Shift: Varied shifts between 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Setting: Retail Pharmacy
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in a retail pharmacy setting
- Provide patient counseling on medications, usage, and side effects
- Administer vaccinations as needed
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Utilize pharmacy systems for prescription processing and documentation
- Deliver excellent customer service and support patient care needs
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain workflow and efficiency
Requirements
- Active Pharmacist license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1+ year of current retail pharmacy experience required
- Vaccination certification required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with retail pharmacy systems (RX30 preferred)
Additional Details
- Flexible scheduling with ability to accommodate longer shifts if preferred
- No weekends required
- No holidays required
