Travel Pharmacist – Oncology Pharmacist (Infusion Center)
We are seeking an experienced Travel Oncology Pharmacist for a 26-week assignment supporting a hospital-based infusion center. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative setting providing specialized care to oncology patients.
Job Overview
- Specialty: Pharmacist (Oncology / Infusion Center)
- Schedule: 5x8s (Day Shift)
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts (Monday–Friday)
- Contract Length: 26 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Setting: Hospital Infusion Center / Critical Access Hospital
Responsibilities
- Verify and manage oncology medication orders for infusion patients
- Prepare chemotherapy medications and compound hazardous drugs
- Ensure compliance with oncology safety protocols and handling procedures
- Collaborate with oncology nurses and providers to support patient care
- Monitor medication therapy and ensure appropriate dosing and administration
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
- Support overall pharmacy operations within a small, team-oriented environment
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
- Active Pharmacist license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 5+ years of hospital pharmacy experience required
- Oncology pharmacy experience required
- Chemotherapy preparation and hazardous drug compounding experience required
- Experience working in an infusion center or oncology setting required
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred

- Monday–Friday schedule with rotating weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage
