Driver/Server

We are seeking charismatic, purpose-driven team members who want to move the world one cup and one smile at a time.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Greet and serve customers of all ages with positivity and enthusiasm
• Address questions or concerns with excellent customer service skills
• Be comfortable driving a Kona Ice truck to and from events
• Take orders with speed and accuracy   
• Accept payments and operate Square point of sale; perform quick addition and subtraction while handling cash
• Be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time
• Closely follow sanitation and food safety regulations; perform basic cleaning of trucks and warehouse    
• Complete beginning and end of shift prepping, stocking, and event tracking
• Smile, and have fun!

Benefits:

• We offer flexible schedules. Hours typically range from 12 to 35 hours per week. Want just a couple days? Yes! Want 5 days a week? Yes! Can only work a certain day or two a week? Yes!

Please note:

• Kona Ice of Chesapeake is seasonal and operates from March through October. Currently we are only hiring those who are available for the full season.

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Have a great driving record
• Capable of lifting 25 lbs overhead
