- Documentation & Accuracy - Handle a variety of paperwork, including purchase orders, return authorizations, delivery notes, and other shipping documents. Review delivery notes for special instructions and highlight them for material handlers. Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation while resolving routine issues quickly and effectively.
- Shipping & Logistics - Direct the movement of shipments from receiving platforms to storage and work areas. Schedule inbound and outbound loads and keep a detailed log of all commercial vehicles. Prepare special labels for customer orders and ensure every shipment meets delivery deadlines.
- Communication & Collaboration - Provide timely, professional updates to carriers, 3rd-party logistics partners, and internal/external customers. Share information with customer service representatives and work closely with internal teams to track and resolve carrier issues.
- Technology & Process Improvement - Use SAP to print pick lists, confirm and post orders, and access key details like carrier, ship date, and tracking numbers. Apply a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains.
- Quality & Safety - Help ensure proper storage, inventory control, and security of all product stocks. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area at all times.
- Team Support = Act as a backup for other office personnel when needed, ensuring seamless operations across the team.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), required.
- Previous experience working in a Shipping environment where processing of customer orders was completed, preferred.
- General knowledge of shipping procedures, a plus.
- Ability to operate a forklift, preferred.
- Bilingual, preferred.

OTHER SKILLS THAT MAKE YOU STAND OUT:
- Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office, SAP and other office equipment.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced setting and effectively work in a team environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
- The plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently required to stand, use hands and/or fingers to grasp, handle, feel, reach and pull; and talk or hear. Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
