Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Physician to provide high-quality medical care in a low acuity, low volume emergency department setting. This role offers 24-hour shifts with a minimum commitment of three shifts per month. Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional medical care to patients presenting in the emergency department.
• Manage patient care efficiently in a low acuity, low volume setting.
• Utilize the Electronic Medical Record system (EPD) for documentation and patient management.
• Work 24-hour shifts, covering up to 7 patient rooms per location.
• Collaborate with a supportive and cohesive team including front desk staff and administration.

Work Environment

• Each physician room is equipped with a private bed, computer, and refrigerator for comfort and convenience.
• Strong administrative support system in place to streamline workflow and reduce non-clinical burdens.
• Low patient volume allows for focused, quality care.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and valid physician license.
• Experience in emergency medicine preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working independently in a low volume, low acuity emergency setting.
• Proficient with Electronic Medical Records, specifically EPD.
• Ability to work 24-hour shifts with a minimum of 3 shifts per month.
