The Staff Pad has partnered with a leading healthcare system in Helena, MT to identify a Technical Laboratory Supervisor (Blood Bank). This is an urgent, high-impact leadership role.

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on leader to oversee blood bank operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the department. This role blends technical expertise with team leadership, supporting both daily operations and long-term performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day blood bank operations and high-complexity testing
  
• Ensure compliance with AABB, CAP, CLIA, and regulatory standards
  
• Train, mentor, and develop laboratory staff
  
• Oversee quality control, policies, and procedures
  
• Troubleshoot workflow issues and drive process improvements
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
  
• ASCP certification required
  
• 2+ years of blood bank or transfusion services experience
  
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
