Public Space Attendant - Now Hiring

Job Summary: 

Performs janitorial duties to accommodate guest needs, ensures cleanliness of public spaces as well as office areas or any assigned area.

Essential Functions:

1. Service, clean, supply restrooms as assigned and as needed based upon business demands
2. Complete shift log or checklist at the end of each shift
3. Work independently or together with other colleagues to accomplish shift/assigned job duties
4. Upholds the high standards of guest service by proactively assisting guest when needed, greet guests and engage when appropriate
5. Attends to lobby areas and public spaces to ensure cleanliness including interior and exterior areas and refuse disposal. General cleaning duties include window cleaning, policing trash, vacuuming, mopping, dusting and washing/wiping fixtures and furnishings
6. Clean, organize, and stock all janitorial supply closets. Fill out order sheets for materials as needed to business volume
7. Follow proper procedures when utilizing equipment or chemicals
8. Reports or communicates maintenance needs or customer issues in a timely fashion
9. Perform deep cleaning or repair projects assigned daily in response to Management/Supervisor request

1. Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally, climb ladder, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
2. Ability to bend, squat, lift arms, push and pull

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Housekeeping experience preferred.
3. Great attention to details
4. Able to follow basic instructions
5. Communication Skills

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Available to work: holidays
• Available to work: weekends
• Available to work: weekdays
• Available to work: early morning
