Job Title: Warehouse associate- Quality Checker Packer
Location:  Reno, 89502
Pay: $19/hr
Shift: Mon- Fri 7A- 4P

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for performing the tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Essential Functions:

• Verify products and quantity of items delivered by order pickers to packing slips by physically verifying part numbers, quantity of each item(s), descriptions, etc.

• Work with Order Pickers on ensuring a quality, accurate shipment to the customer.

• Pack, band, weigh, and label completed items for shipment.

• Ensure that pallets are wrapped and packed correctly and secures pallet using banding and shrink-wrap so that shipment arrives to destination intact with no damages/shortages.

• Applies proper decals, labels, tracking # tags.

• Load products into proper staging area or trucks for shipment.

• Operates Forklifts 

• Ensures all pallets are presentable and all items on the pallet are properly stacked and secure for safe transport.

• Ensure the correct merchandise is loaded on the correct designated truck.

• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

• Always follow safety guidelines, meet specified productivity and quality expectations, and participate in Target Zero safety program.

                  Perform other general warehouse duties and responsibilities as required.         


Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills) Requirements:

• Must be able to pass Drug screen including THC.
• Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions

• Must have proven Forklift experience 

• Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

• Perform basic visual quality inspections on products

• Utilize banding equipment

• Must be familiar with proper packaging methods

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

• 2 or more years of related experience working in similar industry. Good verbal communication skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment-
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to stand for long periods of time. May involve repetitive motion. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneel, crouch, pushing and pulling of pans and part containers. The employee continuously is required to use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects. The employee is continuously required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms.
Due to the open "ironment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.00 - $19.00 Per Hour
