Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU/SICU travel position in Albany, NY, requiring 2 years of ICU experience and active Epic proficiency.
Details
- Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU/SICU) in a hospital setting
- Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience in the specialty
- Epic EMR experience required — candidates without Epic experience will not be considered
- All certifications must be issued by AHA or RQI
- US Social Security Number required — Canadian SIN not accepted
- Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted (personal and religious declinations are not accepted)
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius and outside the following counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
- ICU competency testing is required with up to 2 attempts to pass
- No blocked scheduling
- More than 3 call-outs during the contract period may result in termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
- Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
