Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab position at a short-term acute care hospital, requiring at least 2 years of experience and on-call availability.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab unit of a 222-bed short-term acute care hospital
- Patient population includes diagnostic cardiac cath, PCI, peripheral vascular, PPM implants, and interventional radiology procedures
- Hands-on experience required with specialized equipment: Impella, IABP, EKOS, CSI, Jetstream, Laser, and Shockwave
- On-call is required for this position
- Charting is performed in Cerner EMR
- Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- No floating required outside of unit scope
- Royal blue scrubs required
Requirements
- Active FL or Compact RN license currently in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Experience in a hybrid Cath Lab and Special Procedures setting required, including diagnostic cath, PCI, peripheral vascular, PPM implants, and interventional radiology procedures
- Proficiency with on-call procedures and specialized cardiac/vascular equipment (Impella, IABP, EKOS, CSI, Jetstream, Laser, Shockwave)
- Cerner EMR experience required
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted)
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac and radiology procedures including PCI, peripheral vascular interventions, PPM implants, and IR procedures
- Must be available and experienced for on-call assignments
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply

- No RTO is built into the contract; RTO requests may be discussed during the interview process
