Description
Anchor Behavioral Solutions (ABS) is seeking a dedicated and qualified Intensive In-Community (IIC) Therapist to join our growing clinical team. As a leading NJ state-approved provider of Behavioral Support, ABA, and Community-Based Services, ABS is committed to offering a well-rounded continuum of care that meets the evolving needs of children, adolescents, and families across New Jersey. The IIC Therapist provides short-term, in-home and community-based clinical services for youth with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges. Services focus on stabilization, behavioral intervention, and support to prevent the need for higher levels of care. This position involves flexible scheduling, collaborative teamwork, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.
Responsibilities

Deliver in-home and community-based counseling sessions to children and adolescents

Implement behavioral and clinical interventions based on individualized treatment plans

Use short-term, evidence-based practices tailored to youth and family needs

Monitor client progress and document services accurately and promptly

Participate in Child Family Team (CFT) meetings as necessary

Schedule and attend monthly clinical supervision with assigned supervisor
-
Collaborate weekly with case managers to ensure consistency and quality of care
-
Maintain open communication with ABS staff and respond to calls/emails in a timely manner

Provide support that promotes family stability and prevents higher levels of care

Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in a mental health–related field
- Active NJ license: LAC, LSW, LMFT, LCSW, or LPC
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Comfortable with basic technology, including email, mobile apps, and online documentation
- Willingness to travel for in-home sessions
- Responsiveness to internal and external communication
- Must consent to a criminal background check
Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Bilingual (Spanish, Creole, ASL, etc.) highly preferred

Experience providing in-home or community-based services

Familiarity with NJ Children’s System of Care (CSOC)

Creative, dependable, and passionate about helping youth and families

Previous success working within multi-disciplinary teams

Knowledge of trauma-informed and culturally responsive care approaches

Summary
Part-Time (fee-for-service)
Work as many hours or as few as inclined, ability to increase or decrease caseload, free supervision; pay is exclusively for direct service hours, paid orientation/mandated trainings.
