Professional Motorcoach Driver

Description

• Safely & professionally transports clients via 24-56 passenger motorcoach
• Common transportation destinations include airports, wedding venues, college campuses, sports complexes, & large cities in but not limited to: PA, MD, NY, NJ
• Work in a fast paced, ever changing work environment including frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
• Pre-departure trip preparation -researches destination, directions, flight tracker, etc.
• Willingness to safely drive in all weather during any assigned trip
• Communicate availability on a regular basis to dispatcher
• Complete ALL required paperwork in timely manner

Requirements

•         Must be 25+ years of age to comply with insurance regulations
•          1-3 years of commercial vehicle driving experience
•          Must have valid CDL Class B driver’s license with Passenger endorsement free of driving violations
•          To be hired must successfully complete pre-employment drug & alcohol test, medical certification, criminal  background check, & child abuse history clearance  
•          Friendly- Excellent customer service skills
•          Ability to speak English fluently
•          Flexible availability (may include overnight trips)
•          Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•          Professional appearance
•          Practice safety and security procedures within DOT guidelines; including random drug & alcohol testing
•          Able to work both day trips (avg of 11.5 hour shift) and multi-day trips
•         In order to effectively use Samsara (mandatory driver program) your tablet or phone (which will use your own personal cellular data) must have the following operating system:
  • Android (version 11 or above) or Apple (version 15 and above)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to comfortably drive for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds (luggage, wheelchairs, etc)
• Ability to walk & stand to await customer arrival
