Job Summary:
The facility is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a current assignment in Louisville, Kentucky. This position is in the heart hospital's catheterization laboratory, providing vital support for cardiac patients, including transplant and pulmonary hypertension cases. The role involves scrubbing and monitoring during cardiac catheterization procedures in a fast-paced, 7-bed cath lab environment.

Job Details:

  • Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
  • Location: Louisville, Kentucky
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, with a full-time minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Start Date: 08/24/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS, ACLS; Valid state license; Minimum 2 years of experience; Skills: Scrub and monitor cath procedure and PE support within the department; Will accept ARRT or RCIS certifications
  • Preferred Qualifications: Support staff includes nurse managers, charge nurses, RT providers, hospitalists, intensivists, nurse practitioners, cardiologists, and weekend crew for scheduled cases and emergency call
  • Floats: Possibly to electrophysiology (EP) lab
  • Orientation: 4-5 days
  • Scheduling: Weekend rotation (call only), 1-2 overnight call shifts per week, 1-2 weekends of call in a 6-week schedule, with a response time of 30 minutes
  • Holiday Expectations: Based on unit needs
  • Shift Times: 0700-1930, 6-week cycle to fill schedule gaps
  • Additional Notes: Scrub color: Provided; Parking: Free, badge access parking garage
