Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in Home Health located in Presque Isle, Maine. This role involves providing care to adult patients, primarily focusing on post-orthopedic surgeries, fall risk management, deconditioning, mobility issues, and occasional school-aged children. The candidate must bring their license to work on the first day.
Job Details:
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy, Maine state license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 1 year of experience with above patient types. Valid drivers license, auto insurance, and ability to travel between 50-100 miles per day.
- Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The facility's manager is willing to consider four 10-hour shifts. Weekend rotation: one weekend every 4-6 weeks, Saturday and Sunday.
- Support within the Department: Scheduler leader available via phone, PT leads.
- Float: Will cover Aroostook County (Presque Isle main town). Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Will mostly see adults with some rare encounters with school-aged children. Typical patient load of 20-25 patients per PT. Orientation period of 1-2 weeks. Open for all holidays, including 6 major and minor holidays, with 50% of holidays in contract. No on-call duties. RTO approval must go through manager. Scrub color: Business casual or any solid-colored scrubs. Program name: SimpliFi Travel.
