Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active District of Columbia SLP license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings or long-term care preferred.
• Experience evaluating and treating dysphagia, cognitive-communication disorders, and voice disorders preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation preferred.
