Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active District of Columbia Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care preferred.
- Experience with geriatric patient populations, restorative programs, and functional mobility training preferred.
- Ability to document in electronic medical records and perform standard PT evaluations and treatment planning.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Details: Monday through Friday, 08:30–16:30.
- Meal Break: 30 minutes.
- Assignment Length: 14 weeks (VMS Contract Weeks).
- Schedule: 5×8 coverage.
