Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Ohio Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred. Client prefers therapists with prior inpatient experience in medical-surgical, trauma, or rehabilitation populations.
- Experience with patient assessment, development of individualized treatment plans, discharge planning, and documentation in an EMR required.
- Ability to supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and OT students as part of job duties.
- Demonstrated competence in safe patient handling and infection control practices.
- Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary team participation and patient/family education.
