As a spindle repair technician, you will be tasked with rebuilding high-quality Machine tool spindles for customers in the manufacturing industry. You will find yourself surrounded by high-quality tooling, a state-of-the-art facility, and instructional leadership. Working alongside highly skilled staff, the open line of communication underscores the team-work atmosphere throughout the company.
Scope and Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
* Assemble and repair machine tool spindles
* Diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems of machine tool spindles
* Disassemble and write clear and concise reports for each job
* Use Microsoft Excel to place parts orders
* Maintain testing equipment
* Keep a clean and safe work Environment
* Follow Check sheets to build spindles back to OEM specifications
Education/Certification:
* High School Diploma
* 2-year degree in mechanical field preferred
Skills:
* 2 years' experience in the mechanical field
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Demonstrated problem solving skills.
* Exceptional organizational skills
* Must be safety minded.
* Must have knowledge of hand tools.
* Knowledge of spindles and components.
* Must be able to read blueprints and drawings.
