Pawnee Nation Behavioral Health is on a mission to revolutionize behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment. Our state-of-the-art facility, offering both inpatient and outpatient services, is set to open in spring 2025 in Pawnee, Oklahoma.

WHAT YOULL DO:

Patient Care & Medical Assessments

  • Conduct medical assessments for patients during the intake process, including reviewing medical history, taking vitals, and performing drug screenings.
  • Oversee confidential health risk assessments and ensure patients have access to counseling and testing services.
  • Educate patients on medication adherence and provide relevant health information tailored to their care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and medical needs throughout their recovery journey.

Facility Support & Operations

  • Assist in the daily operations of the facility, including front desk support and administrative responsibilities.
  • Generate and review monthly Medication Administration Records (MARs), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program protocols and best practices in behavioral health.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives.

WHO YOU ARE:

A dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse who is passionate about behavioral health and substance use treatment. You are a team player, problem-solver, and patient advocate ready to make a difference.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Current Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Oklahoma (or ability to obtain before start date).
Experience working with substance use disorder patients (preferred).
Knowledge of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) protocols and best practices in addiction treatment.
Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients on medication adherence and self-care.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Must have or be able to obtain a current First Aid & CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining attention to detail.

WORK CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Setting: Indoors, environmentally controlled facility.
  • Physical Requirements: Frequent sitting, standing, and repetitive motions; occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Communication: Regular interactions via email, phone, video, and in-person discussions.
