Trademark, Copyright & Branding Associate (25 Years) - St. Louis

Direct Counsel represents a well-regarded Am Law firm seeking a mid-level associate to join its Trademark, Copyright & Branding practice. Opportunities are available in Chicago, Kansas City, St. Louis, New York, and Washington, D.C.

This is a strong opportunity to work with a national IP team advising clients on brand protection, portfolio strategy, and complex trademark and copyright matters across industries.

What You’ll Do:

• Handle U.S. trademark clearance, prosecution, and portfolio management
• Manage TTAB proceedings and support trademark-related disputes
• Advise on copyright issues and brand protection strategies
• Draft and negotiate licensing and acquisition agreements
• Support trademark and IP-related litigation matters

What We’re Looking For:

• 2–5 years of trademark and copyright experience at a law firm
• Experience with trademark prosecution, clearance, and TTAB work
• Exposure to copyright counseling and trademark litigation
• International prosecution and licensing experience is a plus
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
• J.D. and active bar admission (or eligibility)
