Speech Therapist Home Health Per Diem

1. NOW HIRING a Speech Therapist for per diem opportunities in a home care setting. You will be paid for each completed patient visit (with documentation).
   
   WORK INDEPENDENTLY 1-to-1 IN-HOME PATIENT CARE

   RESPONSIBILITIES:
   
   
   • Perform home visits for patients in a home care setting
   • Observes, records, and coordinates care with multi-disciplines regarding the patient's treatment and any change in condition
   • Teaches, supervises, and counsels the patient and family regarding home therapy procedures and other care needs as appropriate to the patients condition

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Meets the education and experience requirements for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech pathology or audiology granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, or has completed the educational requirements for certification and is in the process of accumulating the supervised experience required for certification.
2. Is certified to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
3. Is licensed to practice speech pathology in the state of Connecticut.
4. Has a minimum of one (1) years experience in a health care facility or equivalent experience.
