Based in Orlando, FL, we are a diverse multi-practice commercial law firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The Community Association Litigation team is expanding and seeking an experienced Attorney to join a growing team handling sophisticated community association litigation and dispute resolution matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who values courtroom work client relationships and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and draft pleadings discovery motions and memoranda of law while enforcing governing documents through litigation dispute resolution and participation in depositions hearings mediations and trials with accuracy and efficiency
- Analyze community association legal issues draft legal opinions and interpret and draft amendments to declarations bylaws covenants and service contracts
- Prepare for and attend board and membership meetings while providing strategic legal counsel and maintaining strong ongoing client relationships
- Conduct detailed case law and legal research and manage document review using electronic review platforms and document management systems
Qualifications
- JD from an ABA-approved law school with active Florida Bar membership in good standing
- 2+ years of legal experience with demonstrated experience in business or community association litigation; direct community association litigation experience preferred
- Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Outlook and PowerPoint; experience with Summation iManage or comparable electronic document management platforms a plus
