Associate Attorney
Career Consulting Partners is proud to partner with a premier Los Angeles–based civil litigation law firm known for handling complex, high-impact matters. The firm’s practice areas include police misconduct and civil rights, personal injury and wrongful death, nursing home neglect and abuse, employment law, and business and contract litigation.
We are seeking an Associate Attorney with meaningful federal litigation experience to join the firm’s growing Downtown Los Angeles office. This position offers hands-on responsibility for sophisticated matters, close collaboration with seasoned trial attorneys, and the opportunity to manage cases from inception through resolution.
The ideal candidate is comfortable practicing in federal court, thrives in a fast-paced and complex litigation environment, and is driven by work that delivers meaningful results for clients.
Key Responsibilities:Handle all phases of civil litigation in state and federal courts
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
Conduct and defend depositions
Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and motion practice
Manage a caseload of approximately 10–15 active matters
Work directly with partners on complex litigation strategy and trial preparation
Minimum 3 years of federal litigation experience (5+ years strongly preferred)
Experience in civil rights, consumer, employment, or personal injury litigation
Strong motion practice and discovery skills
Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy abilities
California Bar membership in good standing
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a small, elite team
Salary: $170,000 - $240,000
