Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters to support commercial construction projects throughout the Rio Grande Valley. This position requires skilled craftsmanship in metal and wood framing, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship. Ideal candidates will be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a construction team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform commercial metal and wood framing according to project plans and specifications
• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, and construction layouts
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble framing materials including metal studs, wood beams, and structural components
• Install framing for walls, floors, ceilings, and partitions in commercial buildings
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, nail guns, levels, etc.)
• Ensure all work meets quality standards, building codes, and project timelines
• Collaborate with supervisors, foremen, and other trades on jobsite coordination
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
• Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial framing, including metal and wood.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and construction plans.
• Experience with using hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and nail guns.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety practices.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA certification preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Must have own tools & reliable transportation to job sites.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
