Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover mobility, improve strength, and regain independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic exercises, functional training, and mobility assistance
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all patients

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Texas PTA license (or eligibility)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred, but not required
