A reputable construction company in Hartford is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. This person will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of commercial and industrial projects. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, analytical, and confident working in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Review project plans, specifications, and documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates
• Work with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing
• Analyze bids and proposals to ensure accuracy
• Assist project managers and leadership with budgeting and forecasting
• Participate in pre construction meetings and support project handoff
• Maintain historical cost data and update internal estimating tools

Qualifications:
•3+ years estimating at a construction company on projects over $250K
• Strong understanding of commercial construction
• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Detail oriented with strong analytical thinking

Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary between $95,000 and $145,000 based on experience
