Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design of HVAC and plumbing systems for data center and support facilities.
Participate in project delivery through methods such as Design-Bid-Build and alternative approaches.
Conduct airflow modeling, energy audits, and code compliance reviews.
Support construction activities, including equipment sizing, technical submittals, and bid review.
Apply sustainable building practices, including LEED principles, energy modeling, and efficiency strategies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex, mission-critical projects.
Maintain attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in fast-paced project environments.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC/plumbing design, preferably in data center or mission-critical environments.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, HVAC load calculations, and CFD airflow modeling.
Knowledge of data center tier ratings, ASHRAE standards, NFPA codes, and SMACNA guidelines.
Experience with energy code compliance, green building strategies, and technical submittal review.
Professional engineering licensure preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
