Travel Physical Therapist Assistant

Pay Rate: $1,800.00- $2,000.00 gross per week (paid out weekly)

Number of Positions: 2

Start Date: June 29 or July 6 

Travel: All Inclusive- they have housing at 1k a month

Assignment Length: 13 weeks, possible extension

Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Monday-Friday

EMR: Cerner 

Additional Details:

• Provide outpatient physical therapy services to patients.
• Conduct evaluations and follow-up appointments as scheduled.
• Manage a caseload of 8-9 patients per day without double booking.
• Collaborate effectively with other staff members and departments.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and adhere to regulatory requirements.
• 36 Hours guaranteed

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of an APTA approved Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
• Licensed by the State of California to provide PTA services.
• Experience in acute care, skilled nursing, and outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Demonstrates proficiency in physical therapy procedures and modalities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others at all levels within the organization.
• Above-average interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Minumum 4 years experience

ABOUT THE FACILITY

The facility is currently an 8-bed, critical access hospital providing emergency services, family practice medicine, retail pharmacy, and operating a 50-bed skilled nursing facility in addition to other ancillary services such as radiology, laboratory, physical therapy, and day surgery services.
