Divorce and Family Law Attorney (134)

South Florida based law firm specializing in Divorce and Family Law with a strong focus on supporting women facing exceptionally challenging and unhealthy situations is looking to add a divorce and family attorney to their team. The firm is passionate about helping their clients and treats them with compassion and a supportive atmosphere. They are also very technology forward. This position is full time (minimum of 25-35 billable hours per week), allows for a flexible schedule and, once trained, is remote when client services work does not require otherwise. However, you will need to be able to get to the firm’s offices in the West Palm Beach, FL area within a few hours notice if needed.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of family law experience in a law firm environment
• Must have a Florida Bar license in good standing
• Must have experience regularly handling evidentiary hearings and trials in a divorce law practice
• Must have the confidence and ability to handle all aspects of client representation from initial meeting through trial and be able to assume a lead role on all assigned cases
• Must have exceptional writing and drafting skills
• Must have exceptional communication and listening skills
• Must have the patience and compassion to work with older clients who will require “hand holding” and be passionate about empowering them
• Must be comfortable working within a structured system with a project management philosophy
• Must be comfortable learning new technology/methods of handling family law cases
