Responsibilities:

• Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs.
• Maintain a Book of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include calling warm leads and networking
• Be able to take responsibility and keep track of your book of business
• Attend networking evens and meet with potential referral partners (all are paid for by the agency)

Qualifications:

• Basic computer skills
• Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial
• Basic understanding of sales lead or accounting software is helpful
• Job seekers must already have or be willing to get an insurance license
• Outgoing personality and not afraid to talk with potential clients
