Trailer Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform general inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a fleet of 600 refrigerated trailers
• Perform work on ThermoKing diesel engines, brake systems, electrical systems and other trailer components

• Review repair work orders and discuss work with supervisors
• Communicate with managers or drivers to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems
• Work in a safe and professional manner
• Ensure cleanliness of shop and surrounding areas

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have own tools
• At least 1 year trailer mechanic experience required
• High school diploma or GED required, technical education highly desired.
• Valid drivers license

• Must pass drug screening
• Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position (lifting excess of 80 lbs, bending, climbing and standing for duration of a work shift)
