Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment in Pocatello, Idaho.

This role supports cardiovascular surgical services and requires strong experience assisting with complex cardiac and vascular procedures in a CVOR setting.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This assignment is ideal for CVOR Techs who are comfortable working independently in high-acuity cardiac and vascular surgical environments.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• 13-week contract
• 5x8 Day shifts
• 06:14–14:45
• Block scheduling available
• On-call required (approximately 25–33%)
• Adult and geriatric patient population

COMPENSATION
• Gross: $2,126 per week
• W2: $22.00 per hour
• Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246 per week

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Scrub and assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Maintain sterile field and surgical safety standards
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia teams during complex procedures
• Manage surgical instruments and equipment
• Support efficient OR workflow in CVOR environment

PROCEDURE FOCUS
• CABG
• AVR and MVR
• Type A dissections
• TAVR
• AAA and EVAR
• VAD procedures

UNIT OVERVIEW
• Acute care hospital setting
• 160 beds
• 2 OR rooms
• Average CVOR census: 3 cases per day
• Epic charting system

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year CVOR Tech experience required
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA certification required
• Experience assisting with cardiovascular surgical procedures required
• Proficiency with aseptic technique and surgical safety standards required
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to take call as required
• Must meet 100-mile radius rule (locals not accepted)
