Key Responsibilities:
• Perform quantity takeoffs and assist in developing detailed cost estimates

• Solicit and analyze subcontractor bids and proposals
• Assist with bid leveling, scope comparisons, and value engineering efforts
• Work closely with project management and field teams to ensure accurate pricing and constructability
• Review plans, specifications, and project documents to identify scope requirements
• Help prepare conceptual and hard bid estimates for ground-up projects
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors
• Support multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Assist in maintaining historical cost data and estimating databases
Qualifications:
• 3–7 years of estimating experience within a general contractor environment
• Experience with ground-up construction projects (multifamily preferred, but not required)
• Strong understanding of construction scopes, materials, and pricing
• Experience performing takeoffs and supporting full-cycle estimating efforts
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Proficiency with estimating software and tools
• Ability to work full-time in-office
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• 401(k) with company match
• Paid time off and company holidays
• Growth opportunity within a collaborative preconstruction team
