Schedule: Weekday and/or weekend availability as needed

Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. This role is ideal for an SLP looking for flexible scheduling while making a meaningful impact in the lives of geriatric patients.
The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide skilled therapy services in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines
Treat residents with dysphagia, aphasia, cognitive deficits, voice disorders, and neurological impairments
Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Medicare and facility standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including OT, PT, nursing, and case management
Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy goals and safe swallowing techniques
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current state SLP license (or eligibility)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience in SNF or geriatric setting preferred
Knowledge of Medicare Part A & B documentation (preferred)
Strong clinical, communication, and time management skills
