Float: May float to nearby affiliated facility as needed
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,648.74

Position Overview

We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing setting in St. Charles, Missouri. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement components of patient care, collect treatment data, and collaborate in modifying care plans as needed.

This role supports patients across the lifespan in improving mobility, function, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with stretching and therapeutic exercises
• Follow treatment instructions provided by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Collaborate with the PT to adjust care plans as appropriate
• Provide balance training and mobility techniques
• Safely transfer patients to and from therapy areas
• Educate patients and families on at-home therapy techniques
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas
• Complete documentation and administrative tasks in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience
• Active Missouri PTA License (must be active at time of submission)
• BLS/CPR Certification (AHA required)
• Prior LTC or SNF experience required
• Must be submitted at the posted rate

Additional Details

• No on-call
• No weekends
• 35 guaranteed hours per week
