Job Title - Clinic Nurse (LPN)

Department - PACE Nursing

Reports to - Nurse Manager

About Position:

  • Work Location: 1214 Vaughn Rd, Burlington, NC 27217
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • Travel: N/A

Duties/ Responsibilities - Utilizes the nursing process including: assessment, planning, implementation evaluation and recording of patient care and patient education.  Provides support to providers by anticipating needs and providing assistance in the provision of care. Coordinates services with other members of the health-care team, internal and external, to provide complex patient care. Answers or returns phone calls.  Provides onsite and telephone triage.  Assists with the check in process when needed. Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary care team and participates in huddles. Performs other duties as assigned. Practices within the scope of the North Carolina. Nurse Practice Act and Piedmont Health Services’ policies, procedures, and standards. Performs all other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications -

  • Education:  Practical Nursing Accredited Program, License Practical Nurse Diploma or Certificate
  • Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: Current & Valid NC License Practical Nurse; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS). 
  • Experience: One year of general Licensed Practical Nurse experience preferably within the last three years.
  • Preferred experience: Previous experience in an ambulatory health care setting; bi-lingual  

Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment. 

Pay Range: $59,050 - $79,358 (commensurate with years of experience)
