Employment Litigation Associate
Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid – 2 days/week in office)
Salary Range: $125,000 – $185,000 + bonus

Our client, a nationally recognized civil litigation defense firm, is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate to join its Southern California team. This is an excellent opportunity to handle a broad range of employment matters within a collaborative, trial-focused environment, with a clear growth track for long-term advancement.

What You’ll Work On:

• Defending employers in claims involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage & hour disputes
• Managing cases from inception through resolution
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and other litigation filings
• Handling written discovery and depositions
• Participating in mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Communicating directly with clients and providing strategic case updates

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience handling employment litigation matters
• Strong discovery experience, including drafting responses and evidentiary objections
• Excellent writing, research, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong client communication and case management skills
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active California Bar admission

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary range of $125,000 – $185,000 + performance-based bonus
