Kansas City Dental Assisting School is hiring a Part-Time Dental Assistant Instructor for our ongoing 12-week hands-on clinical training programs.

  • Schedule: Saturdays, 7:00am – 6:15pm (breaks included). Note: teaching schedule may vary based on morning and/or afternoon class availability.
  • Location: Olathe, KS (In-Person)
  • Compensation: $24–$26/hr, depending on experience.

What You'll Do

  • Demonstrate chairside procedures and clinical techniques
  • Teach radiology fundamentals and safety protocols
  • Coach students during hands-on lab practice
  • Provide performance feedback and skills assessments
  • Maintain infection control and classroom safety standards
  • Foster a supportive, structured learning environment

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of dental assisting or chairside experience
  • Active Radiology Certification
  • CPR/BLS Certification
  • Strong communicator: able to explain clinical procedures clearly to learners with no prior experience
  • Able to commute to location(s)

Nice-to-haves: prior teaching or mentoring experience, Dentrix familiarity, leadership background
