HVAC Service Tech

Location: Riverside, CA
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $75,000 – $125,000/year

NexGen HVAC & Plumbing is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Riverside, CA. This role is ideal for a reliable, customer-focused professional who takes pride in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems.

As a key member of our team, you will be the face of the company—providing high-quality service, clear communication, and dependable solutions that keep our customers comfortable year-round.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot electrical and refrigeration-related issues
• Perform routine maintenance and system inspections
• Communicate findings clearly and provide honest recommendations to customers
• Document service work and ensure accurate reporting
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle
• Follow safety standards and ensure all work meets local codes
• Manage service routes efficiently and complete jobs on time

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven experience in HVAC service, repair, and maintenance
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and refrigeration cycles

Nice to Have:

• EPA Universal Certification
• Experience with smart thermostats and modern HVAC systems
• Prior customer-facing service experience
