Direct Counsel is partnering with a growing and well-established law firm to identify a Personal Injury Attorney to join its expanding legal team in Cincinnati. This role is ideal for a driven attorney who enjoys handling cases from intake through trial and wants to play a key role in the firm’s continued growth and regional expansion.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in pre-suit case management and personal injury litigation, excellent negotiation skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional client advocacy while maintaining a trial-ready approach.
Compensation
This position offers a base salary of $110,000+, depending on experience, along with bonus incentives and a competitive benefits package. In-person presence in Cincinnati, Ohio is required.
Represent clients in a broad range of personal injury matters, including auto accidents, premises liability, and related claims.
Manage the day-to-day handling of personal injury cases, with a strong focus on pre-suit operations.
Oversee all phases of litigation, including discovery, pre-trial motions, trial, and post-trial activities.
Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions, and legal memoranda.
Guide and advise clients throughout the entire legal process, ensuring transparency and clear communication.
Coordinate with expert witnesses for case evaluations, reports, affidavits, and testimony preparation.
Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
Negotiate favorable settlements while strategically balancing risk and maintaining trial readiness for every case.
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active and good-standing member of the Ohio Bar; Kentucky Bar admission is a plus.
5+ years of personal injury experience.
Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload and consistently achieve favorable outcomes.
Strong client-service orientation with excellent communication skills.
Superior legal writing, research, and oral advocacy abilities.
Proficiency with case management systems and legal research tools.
