Associate Attorney Casualty/Personal Injury (155b)

Successful candidates will have no less than 3 years and no more than 7 years of litigation experience in casualty and/or personal injury law. Associates enjoy a structured mentoring program, monthly, in-house training programs, a collaborative work environment, and the opportunity to work closely with partners who are willing and eager to provide new challenges. The position is full-time and onsite at the firms’ Orlando, Florida office.

In this position Associates:

• will be responsible for high exposure litigation cases from inception to trial with the supervising partner.
• Will be conducting accident scene inspections with experts, drafting reports and analyzing liability, causation and damages.
• will conduct your own depositions, attend hearings and argue your own motions.
• will be responsible for interviewing witnesses, expert depositions, negotiations with opposing counsel, and conducting legal research.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Florida Bar license in good standing
• Must have 3-7 years litigation experience in casualty and/or personal injury law.
• Must have strong academic credentials
• Must have the ability to handle files from inception to trial
• Must have experience with depositions, hearings, meditations and trial.
• Must have excellent research and writing abilities
• Must have exceptional attention to detail, strong legal research skills and a strong work ethic.
