Job Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the unique needs and goals of each child.
- Provide therapy sessions using a variety of techniques and interventions to enhance speech and language development.
- Collaborate with families to educate and involve them in their childs therapy process, ensuring carryover of skills into daily activities.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and educators, to provide a holistic approach to care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions.
- Stay current with the latest research and advancements in pediatric speech-language pathology to ensure evidence-based practice.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of interdisciplinary treatment strategies.
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
- Experience in pediatrics setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and techniques, including inpatient care approaches.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of speech language pathology.
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
