What You’ll Do:
- Generate new business opportunities by selling natural gas, electricity, and related energy services to commercial and industrial clients within deregulated energy markets
- Conduct high-volume outbound and inbound sales calls (approximately 90% phone, 10% face-to-face) to identify and pursue revenue opportunities
- Prepare and present detailed savings analyses and energy solutions tailored to prospective clients’ needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry contacts and client accounts to enhance sales effectiveness and long-term partnerships
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for new customers
- Meet and exceed sales targets while adhering to company policies and industry regulations
- Leverage a consistent work ethic, professional communication skills, and a consultative sales approach to drive growth
- Participate in training programs and utilize company-provided resources to maximize performance and career advancement
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with proven experience in a sales-driven, inside/outside sales environment
- Exceptional written, verbal, phone, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively educate and influence clients
- Comfortable learning new processes quickly and efficiently while utilizing CRM systems to manage customer relationships
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, perform under pressure, and consistently meet performance metrics
- Results-oriented with a passion for closing deals, building long-term relationships, and exceeding sales targets
- Outgoing, dynamic personality with a “can do” attitude and a strong desire to be challenged and succeed
- Demonstrates a competitive mindset, self-motivation, and a consistent drive to win and deliver measurable outcomes
