Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a passionate and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to children with communication delays and disorders in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, daycare centers or at our facility. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each childs needs and goals.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to children with a range of diagnoses including but not limited to expressive/receptive language delays, articulation disorders, fluency issues, and autism spectrum disorders.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support carryover of therapeutic goals and ensure holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and community outreach as needed.
- Support and educate parents and caregivers on strategies to enhance language development at home.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current New York State Licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
(Clinical Fellows with strong pediatric experience are encouraged to apply) - Experience working with pediatric populations, including early intervention and school-age children
- Bilingual (especially Spanish) is a plus
- Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel.
