Direct Counsel is partnering with a growing and highly respected law firm to identify a skilled Personal Injury Attorney to join its expanding legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a meaningful role in the firm’s continued growth and geographic expansion.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling personal injury matters from pre-suit through litigation, a client-first mindset, and the ability to deliver high-quality legal representation while maintaining a trial-ready approach.
Compensation
This position offers a negotiable base salary starting at $150,000+, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
Represent clients in a wide range of personal injury matters, including auto accidents, premises liability, and related claims.
Manage the full lifecycle of personal injury cases, with a strong emphasis on pre-suit operations and litigation strategy.
Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.
Draft and file legal documents such as demands, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and legal memoranda.
Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout every stage of their case.
Work closely with expert witnesses for case evaluations, reports, affidavits, and testimony preparation.
Negotiate favorable settlements while balancing risk assessment and maintaining trial readiness.
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active and good standing member of the Minnesota Bar.
Minimum of 4 years of personal injury experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Exceptional client service and communication skills with a strong client-advocacy focus.
Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy abilities.
Proficiency with case management systems and legal research tools.
