We areseekingdedicated and compassionateLicensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)to join our team at ProValidus Medical Staffing. As aLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)with us, you will play a crucial role in delivering expert healthcare services and improving patient outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medication & Treatment Administration Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with facility policies.
- Patient Monitoring & Reporting Observe residents conditions, document care accurately, and promptly report changes to the Nursing Supervisorand/or Physician.
- Shift Handover & Communication Provide clear and thorough resident status updates to oncoming shifts, supervisors, and nursing staff.
- Physician Order Execution Properly transcribe and carry out physician orders while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Infection Control & Safety Follow all infection control procedures tomaintaina safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
- Inventory Management Assist in monitoring andmaintainingsupplies, medications, and medical equipment.
- Quality Improvement Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient care and facility Operations.
- Resident Care & Comfort Provide compassionate nursing care that prioritizes both the physical and emotional well-being of residents.
- Clinical Rounds & Problem-Solving Conduct routine rounds toobserveresidents, address concerns, and implement effective solutions.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration Effectively communicate and coordinate care with other healthcare team members.
- Customer Service & Resident Rights Uphold a high standard of service while respecting resident rights andmaintainingconfidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Active LPN License in the state of Maine (required).
- Strong communicationand teamwork skills.
- A caring and patient-centered approach to nursing care.
